About the Department:
The department of Hindi of Surya Sen Mahavidyalaya is run as a pass course at the graduate level. In which Hindi subject is taught in the form of LCC course code in the first 2 semesters. This course includes chapters on basic knowledge of Hindi literature and grammar. The syllabus of Hindi literature includes subjects like modern and medieval poetry, other prose genres and grammar, alphabet system of Hindi language, interview, letter writing etc. Along with studies, students also participate in extra co-curricular activities related to Hindi. Which apart from enhancing their proficient communication and writing in Hindi, also develops their academic and practical skills.
