Situated on the North-East corner of the college campus, the Surya Sen Mahavidyalaya Canteen is the hub of three Fs—Food, Friends and Fun. An ideal example of a Public-Private partnership, the canteen is built with the help of financial assistance from donor Satyanarayan Garg and the institution’s own financial resource. The canteen serves nutritious and hygienic snacks and food items at an affordable price to the students and staff. Maintainance of cleanness and quality being the topmost priority of the college authority, the canteen uses high quality cooking oil and offers RO filtered mineral water to all. From puri-sabji to paw-bhaji or soupy noodles to samosa --- one has an endless variety of food items here to satiate one's taste buds.

Beyond savouring sumptuous food, this is the place for the students to engage in debate, discussion and to have loads of fun with cutlets, coffee and coke, in gap periods. This place surely adds an extra zing to the vibrant SSM campus culture.

The canteen is open from 10 AM to 5 PM on all working days.
