Sri Biswajit Bhaumik has obtained M. Sc. degree from NBU in 1985. He has Cleared UGC-NET in 1985 and worked as JRF during 1986 - 1988. He joined as Assistant Teacher in Tarai Tarapada Adarsha Vidyalaya in 1988. He started college teaching as Lecturer in 1989 at Sikkim Government College, Tadong, Gangtok. After more than ten years of service , of which discharged the duty of HoD during 1994 - 1999, joined Surya Sen Mahavidyalaya in October 1999. During his tenure in Sikkim Government College, worked as part-time counselor, IGNOU in 1990 - 1991.During 2012 - 2017 he was a member of UGBOS, Vidyasagar University. He is also a member of UGBOS, NBU since 12/07/2023.He reviewed two books of 10+2 Level Chemistry in 1991.He is working as an Associate Professor in Chemistry w.e.f. 01/10/2007. He has two international publication one of which is in ACS Omega & another is in Microchemical Journal, Elsevier. He has written an article on the topic "Effect of Social Media on Mental Health of students" in Unmesh 2023, annual magazine of college. Recently, he wrote a full paper on "Acharya Prafulla Chandra Ray: The Synthesis of Ancient Wisdom and Modern Chemistry" which was presented in two-day international seminar on Research Methodology in Social Science, organized by Department of Political Science & Department of Bengali, Surya Sen Mahavidyalaya.

Dr. Mandal obtained her M.Sc. degree in Chemistry from the University of Burdwan, India in 2004 with specialization in Organic Chemistry. She qualified CSIR-NET with Junior Research Fellowship and pursued her doctoral research under the supervision of Professor B. Basu at North Bengal University, Darjeeling. She worked on the solid surface-promoted organic reactions and heterogeneous nano-catalysis, and was awarded Ph.D. in 2009. She joined Surya Sen Mahavidyalaya in 2008 and is currently an Associate Professor in the Institution. Her current research is focussed on green synthetic techniques with alternate energy sources.

  Aminul Islam earned his B.Sc. from Abhayapuri College (Gauhati University) and M.Sc.
from Raiganj University, later specializing in advanced analytical techniques at the
University of North Bengal. His scholarly journey culminated in a Ph.D. from the same
institution, where he conducted groundbreaking research in organic synthetic methodology
under the mentorship of Prof. Pranab Ghosh, a distinguished FICCE and FRSC Research
Fellow at INTI IU (Malaysia). Aminul’s expertise and dedication continue to contribute to the
field of chemistry
